ConceptHack platform is searching for mentors who can guide and shape the future of aspiring students. We are looking for mentors who can share their personal experiences of the academic and professional journey with mentees. The mentor must be able to provide guidance, advice, feedback, and support to the mentee as per their requirements.

Who is a mentor?

A mentor is an experienced and thoughtful leader who is committed to investing one’s time to assist in the growth and development of others. The mentor is willing to share their knowledge, experience, and wisdom and act as a guide and role model. A mentor supports and encourages the professional development of the mentee and provides active guidance to help them achieve their goals. The mentor offers a fresh perspective and an independent point of view, while guiding a process that fosters the growth and educational development of the mentee.

Expectations from a mentor:
  • Sincere desire to be personally involved with another person to help him or her achieve academic, personal, and career goals.
  • Sensitivity to persons of different educational, economic, cultural, or racial backgrounds.
  • Proven ability to be consistent and reliable.
  • Proactive about communication and correspondence.
  • Ability to communicate with teenagers in an open and non-judgmental way.
  • Ability to offer advice and unconditional support.
  • Possess good judgment and a positive/motivational attitude.
  • Strong listening skills.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and terms outlined in the mentorship agreement.
  • Follows through on commitments made to the mentee.
  • Respects mentee's limits.
Technical skills required:
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Willingness to learn new software.
  • Basic understanding of the internet and working of any web application software.
